Over 20 countries competed for the coveted medals in Beauty Therapy at the WorldSkills 2011 event in London last week. And they all completed the nails task (building gel nails and nail art) on The Nail Trainer.

"For the first time ever in the history of the event, we were able to give competitors a truly equal chance of winning, based on only their skill and hard work" said WorldSkills commentator Deborah King.

"Till now competitors could gain an advantage by having a really beautiful hand model, but now, with the Nail Trainer, ever competitor builds extensions on the same size and shape of nail and finger; a true level playing field for the first time".

Congratulations to Shuner Villanueva Leong, Singapore, Gold, Heidi Huttunen, Finland, Silver, and Jenica Bubar, Canada, Bronze, for their amazing nails.

And a big hurrrahh for The Nail Trainer, for sitting patiently, being perfectly hygienic, and not complaining for the four days of the show!!
